Why we built it

When I was a pastor, nothing fit the nature of the work.

The pace was so fast and the work was so varied. I used four or five different programs and jotted-together notes to keep myself organized, and I still couldn't keep my team on the same page as me.

I tried the "all-in-one" tools like Notion and Obsidian. They were more trouble to set up and maintain than they were worth, and no one else was on them.

So I started with just an idea, and built what I wished I could have had.

One platform, two jobs.

Everyone is going all directions, and it's hard to know what anyone is actually doing. ministryrhythm fixes both sides of that.

For you and your team

Team productivity.

How it works

It all starts with This Week.

The destination all of the chaos lands in, organized and on time, so you can shape and manage your work week. Everything flows in from across the app.

no massive, confusing set-up or admin
This Week
A project page
Plan it, share it, keep it

Projects

Create, lay out, collaborate on and delegate every part of your events and projects: conferences, classes, discipleship programs, fundraising campaigns and everything in between.

All the files for your projects live with them, so they never get lost. The archive keeps the work, so next year you start from what you built.

Never lose a follow-up

Meetings

Write "meet with ___" in your week or put it on your calendar, and it shows up in Meetings on its own. Counseling, staff meetings, hospital visits: your notes and follow-ups live in one place.

Hit record and AI takes the notes and drafts the follow-ups. Assign them to your team and they flow to each person's week. Publish notes to Rock RMS with a click.

Miss nothing

Team chat

Channels you create, plus one for every project you're in, and an inbox that tracks everything flowing through the app. Voice memos, Zoom, files and @mentions included.

Ask "Hey Lauren, can you ___?" and it becomes a task on her This Week.

Sermon prep, made easy

Notes

A full notes database with search and live sharing. Attach any note to any project, work on it together, and use the built-in Bible and commentary.

AI pulls the tasks out of a note and sends them to the right person's This Week.

Goals first

Planning

Organize your years and quarters with goals at the center, along with your event calendar, sermon series and team structures.

Your plans and your team's plans live together, so it all flows into the day to day, together: This Week and your Monday morning.

Two-way sync

Calendar

The app you live in. Connect Apple, Google or Outlook, and change it in either place: the other updates. Add a meeting to your calendar and it shows up in your Incoming, then flows from there.

Staff visibility.

Real measurables for you and your leads, to understand your work and your staff better. It all comes from Recaps: weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly, for each person and team, all the way up and down the organization.

How did the work go? Where are the holes? Who needs help?
Team recap
It's already in the app Your staff's normal week is the data. No weekly forms, no gathering scattered data points. It reaches leads in real time.
Real numbers, every week Tasks done, meetings held, follow-ups closed and on-time rates for each teammate, so you see who needs a check-in early.
Scales with you Each lead gets recaps for the teams they oversee, from one team to a multi-campus church or a national organization.

One-on-ones

Nothing gets lost.

Track wins, concerns and weekly communications, and note it all under each staff member's profile.

Pin any data point, or a teammate's Weekly Word, to your next one-on-one. Rhythm sets up the meeting.

Questions

Frequently asked questions.

Is my data private?+

Yes. Your personal planning, notes, goals and a lead's private notes on each person can only be read by their owner. No lead, church admin or Rhythm admin can open them. Shared notes stay private until you share them, and direct messages are only for the two people in them. Outside network leaders only ever see counts, never content.

Does it work with Planning Center or Rock RMS?+

Yes, both. Rhythm sends your Schedule to Planning Center Services as a dated service plan. With Rock RMS, you can publish a meeting's notes to a person's profile in one click. Rhythm never edits or deletes anything in either one.

Can volunteers use it?+

Yes, and volunteer seats are free with no limit. Volunteers get team chat and direct messages, their assigned tasks, a view of projects shared with them, and a simple meeting report for their lead. They join with a link or QR code.

Is there an Android app?+

During the beta, Rhythm runs on the web and installs to your home screen on both iPhone and Android. App Store and Google Play versions are on the way.

How do I move my team over?+

A short church set-up walks you through it: church, teams, leaders, invites and tools. Paste a list of people, share a join code for each team, or send volunteers a link or QR code. You can even type an indented outline and Rhythm builds your teams from it.

What does it cost?+

It's free during the beta. When paid plans start, they'll be priced per full seat, with a free trial and no card needed. Volunteer seats are always free.
